Wish List

We still have many unmet needs in our shelter programs. Here are a few we encourage you to consider:

• A $70 gift provides a homeless child with 24 hours of shelter, food, case- management and childcare at La Mesita shelter
  
  
• An $88 gift provides an abused woman or child 24 hours of shelter, food, case management and therapeutic services in our Domestic Violence Shelters, Autumn House and Faith House
  
  
• $500 provides 50 homeless children one week of hot lunches and two daily snacks at La Mesita’s Child-Development Center
  
  
• $1,000 for us to purchase a NEW computer and work station that our children can utilize for education and our adult clients can access for job searches
  
  
• TV/VCR/DVD combination units needed in many shelter residences
  
  
• Art & crafts supplies or craft store gift-cards needed by all programs
  
  
• Digital camera & digital video camera for program use
  
  
• A van (with a warranty) is needed at Autumn House to transport clients & their children for special activities
  
  
• Our five annual drives require ongoing community support
